We’ll gain a total of a 1,115-meter altitude on this route – and half of it will be in the first 10 kilometers with an average slope of 5%.
At the end of the 18th kilometer, we’ll arrive at Maden Bay, an untouched Mediterranean treasure. The bay is ideal for camping, far removed from city noise.
The starting point is Ovacık, a plateau with an altitude of 1,100 meters and bursting with oxygen.
With our hands on the brakes, we’ll descend to Gedelme. There, a medieval Byzantine castle from the ninth century awaits us.
We’re going to gain some altitude but it won’t be too challenging – even for amateurs! When we arrive in Çıralı, two gifts await us: the icy, clean spring water of the ancient city of Olympus, and a calm and quiet beach!
This route takes us from Ovacık to the peak of Mount Sarıçınar at an altitude of 1,793 meters. However, our goal is not to rush to our final destination!
The cedar forests we’ll encounter will invite us to take a break. Apart from the cedars, peanies, an endemic species, are another good reason to stop.
This is a short route but not an easy one! We’ll gain 700 meters altitude in seven kilometers which means a 10% slope! The route will end at the cable car station.
The cable car takes you to the peak of Mount Olympos by climbing from a altitude of 726 meters to 2,365 meters in 10 minutes.
Within 65 kilometers, we will time travel between old stone houses and modern villas, ancient cities and new settlements!
The route’s starting point, Söğüt, is an old commercial port. It is an ideal point for a quiet holiday and an organic diet.
After leaving Söğüt, we’ll descend hills and tiny islands will appear. Our final stop is Serçe Port – a great place for camping!
From the end of the Mediterranean to the turquoise Aegean Sea…
In a short time, we’ll be at the highest point of the route, and arrive at the English Harbor.
In World War II, British submarines escaped the German navy and took refuge here. That’s how the bay got its name!
Then we’ll stop by Günnücek Forest and inhale the oxygen between the sweetgums, one of the rarest trees on Earth.
A 30-kilometer-long route from the famous beach to calm paths!
Çamlı welcomes its visitors with its beautiful nature and history. Throughout our trip we’ll be immersed in nature and won’t come across any settlements.
There are boat journeys from Çamlı to Cedar Island which is home to the world-famous Cleopatra Beach where legend has it that Cleopatra and Antony once swam.
On this route, we’ll gain an altitude of about 1,100 meters. Our first stop will be Bayır village and from there we’ll head to Kumlubük.
In Kumlubuk, a virgin bay and a crystal clear sea will greet us. The course ends in Turunç. If you’re not too tired, we recommend visiting the ancient city of Amos, a few kilometers south of Turunç.
