Day 1: Ayvalık

In this photography route, your first location will be Balıkesir, a small Aegean city adorned with nature’s miracles. Şeytan Sofrası (Devil’s Table) in Ayvalık is suitable for nature photography because it is one of the highest hills in the area. The hill reveals the fascinating Aegean sunset landscapes and the unique view of Ayvalık and Cunda Island.

While waiting for sunset, wander through the historical and cobblestone streets of Cunda. Then, you can discover the local olive oil food culture of Ayvalık. The district is famous for its olive oil production and offers the best samples of healthy and delicious olive oil dishes. Try these unique Turkaegean dishes and organic local flavours.

Day 2:Seferihisar

İzmir’s cittaslow Seferihisar, the second destination of the route, enchants visitors with its historic fabric and peaceful ambience. On the coastal side of the Sığacık neighbourhood, you can watch one of the most beautiful sunsets. Watching the Aegean sunset view will warm your heart, and taking a photograph will immortalise this magical moment.
