Western Black Sea
Yenice Forests are located in the west of Karabük city, within the borders of Yenice district.
Pürenli Plateau is located in the west of the Black Sea, in the Galyaks district of Düzce. To go to the highlands, you must first travel to Gölyaka and then proceed from there.
Küre Mountains, one of the largest forested areas of Türkiye, hosting many caves and canyons, extends approximately 300 kilometers in the west of the Black Sea Region in an east-west direction parallel to the Black Sea.

The Independence Trail follows important routes in Atatürk's national liberation struggle, which began in Istanbul in 1919 and ended in Samsun. The Independence Trail Project was started and completed in 2008 by the Kastamonu Governorship.
